Dear Friends,
I have spent most of my young life wondering what kind of impact I could make on the world. I wasn't married, therefore I had no children or grandchildren. I worked a full-time job for 30 years in the software and architectural industries. About 20 years ago, I became extremely ill and stayed that way for a very long time. Then one day I met my husband through the personals. We met, fell in love within two weeks, then eloped in Disney six months later.
My "sweet pea" has been my rock ever since. He made it possible for me to quit my full-time job and focus on finding the right medical team to assist me in getting well. He always encourages me to keep positive and never stop creating no matter who or what obstacles come my way and try to put me down. So I take his advice and keep on plugging.
During these last nine years, I have also grown to love the Oprah show. Her inspiration and dedication to life and helping those around her is endless. As I mentioned above, I always wanted to do something great and good for others but never knew what that was or could be. I realized that this website was exactly what I needed for myself, and in turn would allow me to do GREAT things for others not quite as fortunate as myself.
Now I live each day by one of Oprah's mottos: "What have you done today to make you feel proud?" This website makes me very proud! I know that this is just the beginning of my new life. I have decided to donate a percentage of all sales made on this website to Oprah's Angel Network and many other charities which are close to my heart. Each of you will have the opportunity to own a gorgeous treasure while giving a little bit of yourself to make someone who doesn't have all that we do, a chance at a better life. Think about how wonderful that would make you feel today!
